Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MeetBuddy website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by a sole proprietor based in Brunei Darussalam under the registered business name 4AI Technology Services & Consultancy ("MeetBuddy," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" refers to that entity.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

The Service
MeetBuddy provides tools that help users create, analyze, summarize, and manage meeting-related content using AI. The Service is provided on a subscription basis and may include free and paid plans. We may add, remove, or modify features at any time.

Account Registration & Security
You may need to create an account to use the Service. You agree to:

- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
5.
Subscriptions, Fees, and Billing
If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes. Pricing and billing terms are presented at the time of purchase and may be updated from time to time.
Billing Terms
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled
- You may cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the current billing period
- Fees are non-refundable, except where required by law or as explicitly stated in writing
- We may use a third-party payment processor and you authorize charges to your payment method

Free Trials and Promotions
If we offer free trials or promotional plans, we may modify or terminate them at any time. At the end of a trial, you will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.

- Misuse the Service to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal outputs
- Record meetings or process data without appropriate consent or legal basis

AI Outputs and Reliability
The Service uses AI and automated systems. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and suitability of any output before relying on it. The Service is provided for informational and productivity purposes only and is not professional advice.
9.
User Content and License
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit User Content and grant the above license.

Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

Intellectual Property
The Service and its content (excluding User Content) are owned by MeetBuddy and its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party services (such as payment processors or transcription providers). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of those services is subject to their own terms.

Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if:

Effect of Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnity.

Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEETBUDDY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEETBUDDY'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO MEETBUDDY FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD 100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
17.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MeetBuddy from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
18.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brunei Darussalam, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brunei Darussalam for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
If you reside in a jurisdiction that grants you specific consumer rights, those rights are not waived to the extent they cannot be waived by contract.
19.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the "last_updated" date and, where required, by additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
